Not In A Funk…Just Bored…

I just got an email from someone asking me if I was in a funk.  Nope.  I’m simply bored.  This post is just in case anyone else is wondering the same thing from reading my blog.

However, in my sheer boredom I decided to go back to the very beginning of my blog and start reading (or at least skimming) my posts.  Wow.  How weird.  I don’t know if anyone else has ever done this.  For some bloggers who have been in existence for a long time, this might be a real exercise.  I’ve only been around since November 1996 so it wasn’t too bad.

But after reading some of them…shit, no wonder D.’s flipped out! I’m really not that scary…I promise.

what ignorant bastid did not realise you were just bored?

    oh,yeah me.

thatr is one of the problems with on line stuff.sometimes hard to judge the “tone”of the other person.

oh well, just muddle thru as best we can

  2. Oh, sodajerk! You’re so fucking cute and funny and sweet, do you know that? This comment made me laugh and smile so much. Really, you don’t know how nice it is to actually have people check in. It shows that they care.

Yes, it is true that it is or can be difficult to tell what is going on with someone via online communication–be it blogs, email, chat–whatever. I try to be clear in my “tone” but who knows? I think as well since I’ve been blogging about a lot of personal things lately it may come across as me being feeling a bit down? I’m not sure.

I do proof the hell out of everything but maybe it’s the stupid YouTubes! Perhaps I should start avoiding those…ah, they’re fun to post though and the only alternative I have as I can’t stream my own music over here on WP. And even then, I’m still limited with the YouTubes.

As we were debating re: blog hosts the other day, that was the one thing that I could do on Blogger that I can’t do here. They have Sonific but not enough choice there for my musical tastes. I *think* I can do it if I pay for an upgrade or something but not willing to do that just to play some tunes that I’m not even sure anyone even listened to on my old blog anyway…
