I’m sick as hell and my chest is on fire.

I did not think this a serious problem, because I was having diarrhea all over the place.  I also wanted to barf, but being a professional emetophope, of course that did not occur.

Check temperatures, as I started to better after only a few sips of water to a half bottle to try and rehydrate somewhat.

When I get sick, all lactose and sugars are out the window.  That’s a problem.  Not much I can put in me–even if I want to eat anyway.

My Immune System says to any Virus or Bacterial Infection I get, “Yea! Let’s keep this party going guys!!!”

Apparently my invitation was delivered to the wrong address, or if I got one it wasn’t printed correctly.

Why am I simultaneously freaking out and getting angry? The temperatures I’ve been taking.  Today it went from a degree above normal.  Now it’s 101°F.

Oh, big deal, take something to lower it.  I can try and I am, but once it starts moving (and very fast!) to 102°F…103°F…  I’m cooked.

Bad pun with burning lungs.  Sorry, completely unintentional.

It will eventually get near to 104°F by my thermometer even if it differs by a degree by the paramedics and/or hospital.  Moreover, the problems still exist.

One fun problem is being placed in Isolation.  They have no clue what’s going on with you for certain, therefore get the person away from everyone else!!! She could be septic with some kind of something!!!

However, mentioning sepsis is a good thing.  A fever at 104°F or getting to it or possibly over it means, “I could die.  Even right this second.  Would it be too much trouble for you to monitor me?”

I think one time I was getting close 105°F.  I couldn’t get a proper read as I continued along.  That’s nuts!

Kids, if this happens it will be the FIFTH time!!! Over the course of 2-3yrs. O_o

During the last time, I was actually admitted to the Respiratory Department.  I have a wonderful Specialist there.  The last time wasn’t too long ago.  Let me be a bit of a puzzle for him this time, should I end up there again?

I fucking sleep either.  This always happens too.   Well, just take my meds anyway and wake up in perfect condition.

  1. Garlic and Raw honey are two natural antibiotics. For my lungs I take 1 tablespoon of turmeric mixed in water per day. Turmeric is anti inflammatory. I hope these tips help you the way they help me and feel better soon!

  2. Tumeric and garlic are sure great natural remedies. But when you get a high fever, you do need to go to hospital and the quickest the best. High fever is NOT something to self-medicate. It’s an emergency situation, as it could be a symptom of a malaria outbreak, a meningitis etc. All of which can be well treated in hospital….provided you get there soon enough!

  3. Hi living vigorously.

Apologies if your name looks wrong with the HTML tags. I always greet people with their names in bold.

Thanks for that information. I wonder how my I’d fare with doing that?

    Possibly? Infection dependent?

I don’t think I would do so well. But this is just me because of my body.

LOVE garlic but must be well cooked or it will be a 911 to my Gastro. And I know it looses its healthy qualities once you cook it

Turmeric? I’ve heard the same as I guess of a preventative. Although they said to honey in that one…

    Thanks for the information.

    Take care,
    PA

  4. Hi MsNaUnd. You get a different version of HTML.

Anyway, you are spot on, 100% right about fevers. As per my Post…?

I’ve done it enough, I actually KNOW when I have to get to hospital. Which is VERY GOOD. Because I didn’t have to.

I only have the insane, tear-your-body- part virus.

How does Dr. PA know it’s a virus? She can still only tolerate water, but it’s moving through each and every place it could it go.

My Immune System is pretty messed up though. That just means when I get sick it’s generally worse than others and it DEFINITELY takes me longer to get over whatever it is!

Okay! Never responded to a Comment with my mobile. This might be interesting.

My eyes are a bit blurry. The high fevers almost send me into a delusional state. This can happen to anyone else with high fevers.

I don’t even know what I’ve written here.

Okay, I think the Comment is cohesive enough?

    Cheers,
    PA

  5. I would stay away from the Garlic if it affects you in a negative way. You might be able to add it to a soup. When I am sick I like to buy an organic vegetable broth add lots of onions, garlic, tumeric, maybe a bit of curry, carrots, whatever vegetables you like a lot. Sip on that. Avoid foods that cause inflammation such as sugar. If that does not sound appealing to you elderberry tea is also a good antibiotic. I also use Kombucha when I feel sluggish. I buy GTs Kombucha it is in the healthy drinks section at most grocery stores. Just ask someone if you cannot find it or call ahead to see if they have it. I am prone to respiratory infections so I understand the feeling. Feel better soon! I hope some of these tips are able to help! Lots of information around the internet about healing yourself through herbs. I have never tried them but I have a friend who uses mushroom supplements and highly recommends them. Most of your immune system lies within your gut. So you could be lacking positive bacteria in your stomach.

  6. Hilivingvigorously. I’m so sorry. I never got this Comment.

Thanks for the suggestions. You sound like you could write a Recipe Book!
